The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Table
Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in strength within the city.
Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.
The Warrior Group Unveiled
The third episode ended with a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to begin their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.
This warrior group features Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).
The Reason for Division
Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.
That’s why, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.
What Defines the Combat Party
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.
Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Motivations for Departure
To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.
Casimir of the deceased character—whose death started the campaign’s events—exploited The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading the secret base, striking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.
The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.
Individual Reasons
Additionally, each member has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:
- Thimble, as the close ally and best friend, wants vengeance.
- Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a hostile place.
- The strong character and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their status as key figures in the influential clan could assist the group enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, Teor pledged a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:
- Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- The warrior and Wicander defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
- The target is wanted dead by the clan.
This leaves them little choice but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.
